About Us
The story behind Refúgio do Anjo
Anjo Campestre grew from a simple, deep connection to the Azores: the wish to care for a place and share it with people arriving from far away. We're not a remote management company — we're people who chose this island and this house.
The house on Rua Coronel Miranda was waiting for a second life. We gave it back its light, comfort, and purpose, without erasing the stone, the wood, and the time that make it what it is. Every decision was made so guests feel the character of the house, not the hand that restored it.
The renovation
A traditional Azorean house brought back to life, supported by the European Construir 2030 programme. We fully renewed the kitchen and the structure while keeping the soul of the building.

Our vision extends to agro-tourism on São Miguel — projects that bring visitors closer to the land and the rhythm of the island. More to come soon.
